In 1994 I moved to the London Institute halls of residence in Battersea from Penygraig, I quickly discovered a Pizzaland 'restaurant' on the Kings Road, Chelsea, they had a deal on every Sunday night - eat as much pizza as you like for £2.99 (No wonder they went out of business in 1996) I cajoled a greedy bunch of fellow students and started a regular pizza eating competition, I was the record holder with 15 slices - until one day Rick the bodybuilder from Southampton (he had a multigym in his small room) joined us, he ate 22 slices, there was only one rule, if crusts were not eaten then it didn't count.
