This is one of the meals served up at Penygraig Juniors - the second worst canteen of my life, the ham like object was god knows what, the potato was never mashed properly so was full of hard bits (bullets) and eyes - hence the eyeball. Beans just seemed to appear everywhere in my life like a bad virus, I couldnt avoid them. The food was transported down the mountain from the top-of-mountain Comp kitchens in metal caskets, so it was always a little over steamed and softened by the time it arrived at our school. It was quite appropriate to be in casket as it was always dead on arrival. The kitchen was bossed over by a silver haired matriarch Mrs Kitchener - she made the cook in The Bash Street Kids look soft.
